The Ovetto factory in Italy is just about to return from its summer break and we have already placed our order.

We are now taking pre-orders with expected delivery around mid October.

All bins will be delivered to us for quality checks prior to dispatch.

Congratulations to the winner of the £100 Caab Living voucher - Mr P Shaw from Derbyshire

Below is a selection of the results and insight we gained from your answers:

 

  • 97% of customers found it "Easy" to place thier order
  • 36% of orders arrived before the advised delivery date with the remaining 64% arriving on the advised delivery date.
  • 93% of customers found thier orders to arrive in "Pristine" condition
  • 22% of respondants have shopped wiht us more than once with 100% likely to shop with us again in the future (56% very likely & 44% maybe)
  • If we opened a local store near you, over 82% of you would pay us a visit
  • Thanks for the list of places and postcodes of where you would like our stores to be. These may not happen just yet but we will be basing some of our decisions on your requests - I personally liked the idea of Lisbon, Portugal :-)

 

Many thanks to all who took the time to complete our survey. It definitle gives us a better insight into how our business works and should work in the future.

Sales Assistant
3 Days per Week – 8 Hours per day
£6.50 per hour
Scope for future promotion

We are now looking for an experienced retail sales assistant to work part time at our new store in Uppingham, Rutland (LE15). General responsibilities may include:

•    Day-to-day sales
•    General Upkeep of Store, cleaning etc
•    Processing end of day sales reports & emailing through to Head Office
•    Secondary Key Holder
•    Stock Checks
•    Dealing with returns and customer queries
•    4 Week Rota includes 2 Saturday's Off and 2 Sunday’s off (Sundays subject to change)
•    Liasing with Office Contacts and Store Manager

The candidate should possess:

•    Retail experience, preferably in a homewares environment but all experience will be considered.
•    Flexibility in working hours and days.
•    Computer literate and able to learn.
•    Knowledge of Email and preferably Microsoft Outlook.
•    3 References – 1 personal and 2 from previous employers
•    Preferable but not essential – shop window display creation.
•    Ability to be calm under pressure.

£6.00 per hour – hours variable – max 40 per week
Overtime allowance for excess hours worked
3 References required – 1 personal & 2 from previous/current employer or college
Possibility of permanent position in the new year

We are now looking for temporary Christmas staff to help with the picking and packing of orders at our small base in Great Oxendon, just outside Market Harborough. The applicant(s) will undertake the following:

•    Picking items from order lists
•    Packaging items for dispatch
•    Applying adhesive labels and sorting into relevant sections
•    Dealing with some deliveries
•    Stock Checks

The candidate should possess:

•    Warehouse and/or pick/pack experience (preferred)
•    Flexibility in working hours and days
•    Desire to progress in the company
•    Adequate literacy and writing skills
•    Happy to work around dogs (the office dog is always about!)
•    Ability to be calm under pressure
